Raining.
I had the 300 mounted, so I went outside with it to see what might be happening under the eaves along the Wailuku Drive side of the house.
Here's the topmost leaf of a vanilla vine we planted more than a year ago. It's doing well enough. Coaxing a vine into making vanilla pods is difficult -- hand pollination at just the right time -- so we're just enjoying the way it looks. I shot it some time ago.
I like this shot much better.
It looks as though we'll be having a rainy period. But there's always something to be found in the rain.
